In collaboration with Sydney Living Museums, the Caroline Simpson Library and with the guidance of curator Michael Lech. The Ella and Sofia ‘Kandos’ design comes from an original wallpaper by Morrisons in the 1920s. The Kandos design has a beautiful fluidity and incorporates elements of the natural fauna of the day. Elements of the native bird have been added as a reference to Sydney and celebrate the shape and form of our natural landscape.
